Haunted Ink of the Dead

“Dark as grave soil, thin as breath, this ink binds hand to ghost and spell to death.”

🧪 Ingredients:

  1. Bone Char (1 tsp)
    • Ground from burned animal bone or charred grave wood.
    • Symbolizes mortality, ancestral connection, and spirit anchoring.
  2. Graveyard Dirt (½ tsp)
    • Harvested respectfully from a known burial site.
    • Use from the grave of a witch, poet, or known spellcaster if possible.
  3. Wormwood Tincture (1 dropper full)
    • Heightens psychic perception and spirit communication.
    • Optional: Mugwort tincture as substitute.
  4. Black Walnut Hull Powder (¼ tsp)
    • Natural black dye, protective and spiritually binding.
  5. Iron Filings or Rust (Pinch)
    • Wards off possession; keeps the spirit’s influence confined to the ink.
  6. Dragon’s Blood Resin (¼ tsp, powdered)
    • Adds potency, seals magical intent.
  7. Full Moon Water or Gravewater (2–3 tbsp)
    • Water gathered under the full moon, ideally in a graveyard or crossroads.
    • Use just enough to create an ink-like consistency.
  8. Gum Arabic (¼ tsp)
    • Acts as a binder and thickener. Keeps the ink smooth and usable.

🔮 Optional Additions:

  • Drop of your own blood (For ancestral work or deep bindings)
  • Oil of Myrrh or Asphodel (To carry scent and death-aligned frequency)
  • Ash from burned spirit sigils or past rituals

🕯️ Ritual Preparation Instructions:

  1. Cleanse and Protect Your Space.
Cast a protective circle. Light a black candle. Burn wormwood or frankincense.
  2. Grind and Mix Dry Ingredients.
Combine bone char, grave dirt, walnut powder, iron filings, and dragon’s blood in a mortar. Grind slowly, speaking an invocation:

“Ash and bone, dust of grave,
Dark ink rise with breath you crave.”

  1. Add Liquids.
Pour in moon water and wormwood tincture. Stir with a ritual blade or wand. Slowly add gum arabic until it reaches desired consistency.
  2. Consecrate the Ink.
Place hands over the mixture and say:

“By ink and earth, by blood and bone,
Let spirits write through this alone.
Seal this brew with veil and thread—
This is the haunted ink of the dead.”

  1. Bottle in Glass Vial.
Preferably dark glass. Store with black cloth or bury for three nights before use.
